About us

Delizzimo was established by Liz Fryer in 2002 as a Cookery School and Catering business, operating from a purpose built kitchen in a converted barn at Little Crawley, near Newport Pagnell.   Liz attended Leith’s School of Food and wine and completed her diploma, with distinction, in June 2002, gaining joint first place out of 96 students in the final examination.

Liz has been buying fish for the delizzimo business since it started in 2002. Customers were so impressed with the quality and freshness of the fish that they started placing regular orders for delivery, and so a fishmonger was born.   

Lilly has now joined Liz in the fish business, and they get up very early to buy your fish from Billingsgate market in London.  They only buy the best quality, freshest fish available, and ensure that those items on the endangered list come from sustainable sources.  In addition to wet fish and shell-fish, Liz and Lilly also produce home-made fish cakes, pies and goujons, adding only the best possible ingredients, and no E numbers.
