About us
We are a local company based in Riseley.
We believe that the humble coffee bean needs to be treated with respect. We carefully select the best gourmet coffee beans, that are grown in the best possible conditions These coffee beans come from some of the best coffee estates from around the coffee - growing belt. (Between the Tropic of Capricorn and the Tropic of Cancer).
Our coffee beans are roasted by (in our opinion), the best micro-roasters who are truely passionate about providing fantastic coffee.
As a result, we guarantee that your Senses will be Spoilt!!!
The aromas and taste experiences you get from drinking our coffee will convince you that speciality coffee bears little
resemblance to mass - produced coffee.
Indulge yourself, with a little help from the best coffee available.
By the way, we take the same philosophy with our loose leaf tea!!! We find the best possible examples of different teas and many of the teas we sell have been approved by the Ethical Tea Partnership. When you receive your tea, the first thing you will notice is that they look as they should, many of them will also smell far stronger than the tea bags you have in your cupboards. The colours and taste of the tea, once made will also convince you to continue spoiling yourself and drinking the very best.

Ethical Policy
We source our coffees and teas from all over the world, ensuring that we offer the best quality products. We make it our policy to research as much as we can about about the coffee estates, tea gardens and the environment the coffees and teas come from.
We wanted to support a charity with every sale we make and found Coffee Kids, which helps coffee growing communities and not just the producers themselves.
The coffee importers who supply our micro roasters encouage their origin partners to adopt strict social and environmental policies.
Many of our teas are labelled ETP, which stands for the Ethical Tea Patrnership. The ETP seeks to monitor conditions on estates in Kenya, Malawi, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. The producers have to comply with local legislation and union agreements concerning terms and conditions of emplotment, health ad safety, maternity and housing on the estates as well as education and basic rights.
At Coffee Cavern, we believe in giving our customers the best and at the same time, giving something back to the communities that produce these exceptional coffees and teas.
